Who doesn’t love happy hour? Thursday I had a wonderful time mingling with brides at Wine & Weddings at Receptions in Eastgate. It was so nice to see a wine theme at their beautiful location. Mindy brought her yummy cupcakes and The Cincinnati Sinatra sang some old favorites! Be sure to mark your calendars, they will be hosting these events on the fourth Thursday of every month. Thanks to all who came out and a special thanks to the Receptions team who always do an amazing job! The other wonderful vendors who participated include: Sphire Elegance, Cincinnati Sinatra, Cakes by Mindy at Receptions, Over the Wine, Love those Lashes – Amy Young, Special Occasions Bridal Shop, Mary Kay – Lindsey and Lisa, and Cincinnati Digital Photography

Nicole is a very sweet friend of mine. She is one of my favorite wedding vendors to dance with (can’t you tell she loves to dance). I always love seeing her at our wedding vendor events plus I love eating her cake from A Spoon Full of Sugar. When she started getting serious about Jeff I just knew he was the one! She couldn’t stop smiling when she talked about him! So when she announced her engagement I couldn’t help but jump up and down in excitement with her. On the 17th I couldn’t believe that her wedding day was here and she was ready to celebrate! We started with the girls getting ready at the hotel and then the couple saw each other for the first time. After that they climbed on board the school bus and headed to Nicole’s aunt and uncle’s house for some fun photos. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Nicole’s bridesmaids sang “Going to the Chapel” – there were so many of them that they were in harmony – she had her very own choir! Their ceremony at Lakeside Christian Church was beautiful. I love how their officiant told their story of how they first became friends when going on a mission trip. After the ceremony we took a short detour to Chipotle – one of their favorite restaurants. The couple wanted to be able to greet all of their guests at the receptions so they knew they wouldn’t have time to eat. We stopped and had a bite to eat – yummy! Their reception at Receptions South was great! Jeff greeted the guests and said that this was probably the biggest party he has ever been to and ever will be at (they had about 550 guests)! And for a surprise – the girls danced to “Thriller!” Those girls can dance and the guests loved it! The reception was so much fun with great music and lots of dancing! Nicole my sweet friend – I wish you all the very best – I am so glad I was there to capture your special moments and to supply pins and take over Chipotle! Jeff I am so thankful that you met my wonderful friend, I have enjoyed getting to know you! We wish you two all the very best! To their amazing vendors – thank you for making this day truly beautiful and amazing!

One of my favorite photos of Rebecca and Ryan is them hanging out in a creek! They are both big into the outdoors and love nature. I just love how their wrapped canvas is so beautifully displayed in the dark brown floating frame. It’s almost like you are looking through a window frame to see this intimate scene. I can’t wait to find out where they are going to hang this treasure!
