We just receive Debbie and Adams’s engagement book and it looks great. Who doesn’t love a rainbow with a cute couple? Their Alms Park engagement session was so much fun. We were almost rained out but then the sun came back out again. We can’t wait for their wedding in just a few weeks!
You know it’s going to be a great wedding when the bridal party gets to change in to chucks! I have been excited for Katie and Dom’s wedding for quite some time. Katie’s family is our Kentucky family and her parents are like my aunt and uncle. The couple picked August 18 because it is Katie’s parent’s anniversary. And who knew it would be 80 degrees in August – a beautiful day for a wedding!
There were so many fun parts of the day. I loved their bridal party because they were up for anything! And that also includes teasing the groom for the garter toss. At the reception there was lots of dancing, even the grandparents joined in! Katie and Dominique – I am so happy for you two and we wish you all the very best. Dom – welcome to the family. Get ready for lots of family meals and more games like Balderdash. To their friends and family – thanks for making the day so much fun!

Growing up just outside of Louisville means that you know all about the famous Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs. Whenever we had out of town relatives visit that was the first place we took them. There is just so much history and excitement everywhere you turn – from the twin spires to the paddock and the famous track. So when Becky and Ryan suggested we do engagement photos there I jumped at the chance. Our timing worked out great because it was only a few weeks before Derby and the tulips were still beautiful. After Churchill Downs we went to St. James Court for some fun photos with the fountain. I am so glad that their guests were able to enjoy the engagement photos at their reception!
