When I first met Jamie and Jeff I could see the spark between them from across the room. Their story and how they talked about each other – I just knew they had to be together. Their wedding celebration was full of so much fun. They wanted to focus on their family and friends and were incredible hosts. The ceremony began with the song Grow Old with Me and made everyone so filled with emotion. I was fighting back tears. After the unity candle the ceremony ended with a special trumpet arrangement created for the couple by Jeff’s band director from school. After the recessional down the aisle I quietly followed the couple to the back of The Bell and loved seeing the couple just melt together. During dinner the couple had the very talented Nancy James sing a tribute to Rosemary Clooney and the guests loved it! Then it was the retired band directors turn to play big band music and to get everyone on the dance floor. We ended the evening with a quick night photo with the couple. Congratulations to Jamie and Jeff – your day was incredible and we are so thankful you picked us to document the celebration. And a big thanks to their talented wedding professionals and venue for making  everything so wonderful!

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Brenda! When we first met I knew she had to shoot my daughters wedding photos. She was available to coach us while preparing our farm for the big day. We listened to all her suggestions and created a space better than I imagined. Her eye for detail and capturing the day was perfect. Thank you so much for spending time with us and helping us create a space for others to share. More importantly, I can relive the day, when I look at our daughters wedding photos. It was an emotional day and it goes by so quickly. When it’s all over, pictures and your minds eye are all you have. Thank you for capturing our wonderful day!” – M. a mother of the bride

I am so blessed that I get to work with amazing families like yours! It has been so much fun to see the farm from the very start change and grow into a wonderful location. All of the hard work has paid off! Thank you for trusting us with your celebration!

“Pottinger Photography is fantastic! We are so happy with our wedding photos! Our wedding day ended up being a rainy day and I was bummed because I envisioned a certain look for our photos. Brenda assured us that they would be fabulous regardless. She wasn’t kidding. The weather didn’t matter at all. The photos are AMAZING! In fact, she entered one of our wedding photos in a print photography competition and won first place! So, yes, I highly recommend Pottinger Photography. Thanks so much, Brenda!” Kim L.

Thank you Kim for your kind words! We loved being a part of your beautiful day in Louisville. Creating an incredible image that included the rain and your venue was a beautiful challenge.

Sierra is One!

It is so hard to believe that this little girl is one. It seems like just yesterday she was a newborn. She is sweet and spunky! It could be the time of year but her little ponytail reminds me of Cindy Lou Who from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” She did not love her cake but enjoyed the balloons and knocking over her letters. Her little personality is starting to shine through. I am sure she will love Christmas this year and walking in the new year!
