Sometimes that best part of a wedding day coming together is capturing the love and support friends and family have for our couples. Their story started at Hannah’s home with the girls getting ready. Hannah put her dress on in her room which was so incredibly sweet. It was hard not to cry when her dad saw her for the first time. Next we headed to the church. My favorite moment was watching David have a big embrace with Hannah’s father – so much emotion! After the ceremony we headed back to the family farm for photos and for an informal cocktail hour. Another favorite moment was seeing the two drive off in a four wheeler together – you don’t often see that on a wedding day! I loved photographing them walking on the side road together with just a kiss of light on their hair. In the background you can see orange daylilies in bloom and they matched her bouquet. Then we headed to Pebble Creek for their fun reception. I love how they included lanterns on their tables and an ice cream bar! Thank you to everyone who made their day so much fun! Hannah and David we wish you two all the very best!

Q&A with the couple:
What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Most memorable was seeing David standing there and the interaction between my Dad and David. It was so clear that they cared so much and have a great relationship. It was overwhelming tosee the amount of love and support from our family and friends. Another favorite moment of mine was getting ready with my mom. I’m so thankful for her being there and getting to spend all that time with her. She is truly my best friend and it means everything to me that we had so many happy moments together!
Any advice for future couples?
Be sure to take a minute alone and sit back and enjoy it. It goes so so quickly so savor every second you can with your loved ones.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Funniest moment is a hard one! One really funny moment was when my Dad got his snowmobile out to get a picture with David’s friends! They love “Larry the Enticer”! Another amazingly fun moment was the father/daughter dance… We were having so much fun and wanted our guests to have as much fun watching as we did dancing! Songs from the Reception: Our first dance: “You make it look so easy” by Eric Church and Father/daughter dance was a mash up of: “What a wonderful world” by Louie Armstrong, “My house” by Flo Rida, “Timber” by Kesha and Pitbull, “Shake it off” by Taylor Swift, “1000 miles” by Vanessa Carlton, “Call me maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, and “Can’t stop the feeling” by Justin Timberlake.

Driving up the long stately drive to the Crosley estate was followed by goosebumps. With the sounds of the old-time music that matched the vintage Model-A family car – I just knew it was going to be an incredible day. Every little detail throughout the celebration was carefully planned. One of my favorite moments was watching the couple plant a tree during their ceremony. Even the sun peeked out from behind the clouds to back light the couple. After the ceremony we had fun photographing the couple at our favorite locations around the gorgeous grounds. The first dance under the fabric and chandeliers – was text book story-tale! Although it was a little too wet for the ceremony to be in the orchard we saved that favorite for the golden hour lighting – it was perfect! Once the dance floor opened it was packed We especially loved when the guys decided to bring in a little country with the song Wagon Wheel! Congrats Kate and Steven – we wish you two all the very best and are so thankful that you asked us to document your wonderful day. Also a big thanks to all of their family, friends and super talented wedding professionals.

It has been so much fun seeing my friend Nicole so in love with such a great guy. These two just light up when they see each other! They laugh together and when they hang out it is almost as if they are in their own world. And if rain is a sign of good luck on the wedding day – these two are going to have a flood of good fortune! There were so many incredible moments. We started with getting ready with the girls and Nicole’s daughter had just the perfect sized fingers to button the dress. The custom written vows were great cause for tears and laughter. And seeing the couple dance with the kids – hands down my favorite! We ended the photos with a classic Cincinnati skyline photo in between the rain showers. Nicole and Neal – thank you for inviting us to document your celebration. I just know that you two were made for one another – who else would dance to Keith Sweat’s song Nobody for their first dance (yes there is a story behind this that includes Nicole making a bad joke on an early date).
