One of my favorite venues in Cincinnati is Pebble Creek Golf Course and Event Center. It is always beautiful and has the best view for a sunset.

Heather and Ben’s wedding day was wonderful and full of fun. We started with the girls getting ready and then met up with the guys. The best man was a hoot and had his goofy face was ready for photos (it’s even on his driver’s license -yep I checked). After some fun formal photos we headed to the ceremony. My favorite part of the ceremony was seeing the smile on the groom’s face. Then we headed in for the reception. I love how Fassler Florist decorated the room with three different types of centerpieces. During their first dance the sunlight came in from the windows and it created a neat shadow on the back of the bride’s dress. After dinner and some fun dancing we took the couple out for a few more photos with the sunset. What a great way to end the perfect day!

When Marielle and Brian booked us over a year ago I just knew their wedding day was going to be amazing and so full of love. It is beautiful to see their faces light up when they talk about each other. Even though it rained a good portion of the day Marielle never complained once! She bought cute rubber boots and a matching umbrella. The great thing was that when it was time for photos in the park, it drizzled a little bit (just long enough to take some fun umbrella photos) and then the rain stopped! My favorite part of the day was photographing the couple in the fun tree house at Mt. Airy Forest. I just love how they were able to just be in the moment and enjoy being married! After a few more photos in the Arboretum area we were off to their fun reception at The Cincinnati Marriott North.  The reception had many fun events like the ShoelyWed Game and a Teddy Bear Toss for kids! Marielle and Brian we hope you two had a wonderful honeymoon and we wish you two all the very best. We have loved working with you this past year!

Marielle and her dad worked on this beautiful 1965 red mustang together! It was so much fun to include it in photos!

Rain on a wedding day is said to be good luck. And now I have to agree. I absolutely love that we were able to shoot in our rain location – the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal. Plus we were able to capture some great moments under an umbrella (the photo of them walking back to the bus has to be one of my all time favorite photos ever – what an amazing way to tell the story of their day with a Cincinnati landmark)! Oh and they had a super fun bridal party that kept me cracking up – something about a panda hat. Their fun reception was at The Madison with a packed dance floor thanks to Hey! Mr. DJ. Another favorite moment was watching the couple and guests crack up as they played the Shoelywed Game!
