Keene Place, a beautiful and historic venue at Keeneland

Kentucky has so many beautiful and historic locations. Keeneland in Lexington is full of traditions and southern hospitality. If you haven’t seen the paddock area and the track you are missing out! So when I was invited to join the Association of Bridal Consultants for their brunch at Keene Place followed by racing  -I couldn’t say no! Turf Catering provided a wonderful brunch which included french toast kabobs and southern chicken over fried green tomatoes. The sweet tea was served in small mason jars and the dessert included cake pops and mini pastries. We also had a wonderful favor from Martine’s Pastries – an adorable box of macaroons! Keene Place is Keeneland’s newest venue and is in one of the oldest buildings. The renovated historic home is stunning and it is perfect for a rehearsal dinner, bridal brunch, or an intimate wedding. It seats up to 56 people or 100 guest for cocktails. How fun would it be to share a truly Lexington gem with your guests and then have a fun day at the races?

The Cincinnatian Hotel, Perfect Wedding Guide

One of the best parts about attending the Perfect Wedding Guide luncheons is that we get to scope out really great venues. The Cincinnatian Hotel is a place I had heard of but I never had the chance to enjoy. Last week we met with a sold out vendor crowd and had a great time hearing a panel of brides answer our questions. The hospitality and food were amazing! Special thanks to Adrianne and her talented staff for making everything so wonderful. I really hope we are back there soon for a rehearsal dinner or wedding! Lori from Connie Duglin did a great job with the linens and the flowers were by The Cincinnatian.
