We were very excited when Julie from Cincy Event Planning contacted us to photograph their first party at the Ronald McDonald House. The bright colored theme of Lemonade and Lollipops was so cheerful.  With yummy sweets by Tres Belle Cakes the kids were ready to party! A special thanks to  Prime Time for the linens and Five Dot Design who created the cute paper pieces. Becky and Ryan are always so much fun together. They make each other laugh and aren’t afraid to have a great time. I have been really looking forward to this wedding because I knew it would be fun. Becky and her mother have worked on a ton of great details. Everything from the socks the groomsmen wore to the seven layers of cake – it all tied in with this really fun rainbow colored wedding! The tropical colors really made every part of the wedding colorful! Becky’s mother also had a rainbow colored wedding so it was neat to see the tradition carried on. One of my favorite moments of the day was watching Ryan wipe away Becky’s tears at the altar – such a sweet moment. And then it was followed by a happy chest bump to conclude the ceremony! The reception festivities were also filled with fun surprises. The best man and maid of honor had the couple play the newlywed game. One of my favorite surprises was the fireworks for the couple! Becky and Ryan – thank you for being yourselves and for always making me smile! To your friends and family – thanks for making the day so much fun to photograph! It was a great celebration. To the vendors who made it all look great – all I can say is wow!

It is always so exciting to get to work with a new location that is so inspiring! Laurel Court is an amazing hidden Cincinnati gem that I have been so excited to photograph for a long time. When Wesley and I started working on this concept shoot we knew we wanted it to look amazing. There are so many talented wedding vendors right here in Cincinnati that we couldn’t wait to give them an idea and let them create something special. Putting together such a detailed shoot takes a lot of planning and it is much like pulling together a party or an event. Wesley made her storyboard come to life!
