The first time I met Debbie on the phone I just knew we would have so much fun working together. Her original engagement session was stormed out in November. We were both watching the weather reports closely last week to see if we would have better luck. Since they were coming from out of town I knew we wanted to make it work. On the day of their session it was a little cloudy but it hadn’t rained much -until we were a few minutes into their session. It began pouring! So instead of waiting the storm out in our cars (my phone was telling me that the storm would take an hour or so to pass) we headed down the street for coffee. It was great to get to know Adam more and to work on the timeline and location ideas for the wedding. As soon as the rain stopped we hopped in our cars and headed back up to Alms Park. When we parked I looked up and saw a rainbow! We took advantage of the rainbow and the great weather. The couple actually got engaged last year the day after St. Patrick’s Day, how cool is that! It ended up being the perfect evening with just the right temperature and the sun peeking through the clouds right before it set! Debbie and Adam thanks for sticking out the rain with me, I am so glad we did! I can’t wait for your wedding this September – hopefully after all this rain, your wedding day weather will be perfect.

Spring is always such a beautiful time of year. So when Jessica and Bill picked Ault Park I just knew we would be in for an inspiring setting! It was perfect weather that night and the trees were in full bloom. This couple is always so much to be around. You can tell that they love to laugh together. They made their session such a joy for me! I can’t wait for their fall wedding.

Kris and Andy are the kind of couple that I could just hang out with all day! Their personalities are so kind and funny. Andy had me cracking up most of the session. He even came up with a new pose – the Captain Morgan pose LOL! I love how you can see their personalities and passion for each other in their photos. The Cincinnati Nature Center is a meaningful park to the two of them and it made for a beautiful location. It was great to see the bright green baby leaves. My favorite spots were in the woods and at the Sugar House – they had to kiss there! I can’t wait to photograph their June wedding. I can only imagine that Andy will be cracking me up that day too!

It was great to see Nicole and Neal for their spring engagement session. We explored my favorite parts of Eden Park and caught up with the wedding plans. And I must say these two were so much fun together! I love how they make each other laugh. I can’t wait for their wedding in May!
